Task: Complete a mood board to gather together ideas of themes, atmosphere, colour and other mise-en-scene.

| My final moodboard. I do not own the images used. |
After gathering together relevant various images online I complied them together. Key features:
- I used only red, black and white colours, as I plan to in my animation. Isolating the vivid red only on the character herself and the titles pushed them out as far more important than the background - similarly the use of pure black on the wolf also sets him apart from the set, but also suggests his belonging there.
- By placing the wolf silhouette leaving from one side and appearing on the other I tried to micmic my plan for the movement of my set: the 'forest' will be built on a revolving axis that can move by itself and therefore leave the camera static and consistent. Likewise, my 'echo effect' with Red in the bottom right-hand corner is another technique I want to use when she is being chased by the wolf to exaggerate her speed and movement.
- The use of ripped paper acting as the trees and leaves in the background. The set of my stop-motion is primarily twigs used to create the forest landscape, and I felt the use of ripped paper brought out the idea of tree trunks and also added to the dark, gothic atmosphere of the piece.
